Scheduled Report Emails

We currently have 5 scheduled reports that run weekly. The reports are User Audit Detail Reports for 5 different groups. Everything is running fine and the recipients are receiving the reports. However, the recipients are receiving individual emails for each user in the group. Before we upgraded, they received a single email with a single consolidated report that included each user in the group. We are currently running v7.9.0. Is there a way to change it so that we go back to the single email, consolidated report or is this just the way it is in 7.9.0?

There is an announcement about this issue at the top of this thread regarding the issue you are experiencing:



"The latest upgrade to Cyfin 7.9.0 added a Site Audit Detail report. This addition altered the report numbering scheme, and since the product schedules reports by number, this can conceivably cause the wrong report to run. For example, if you have a User Audit Summary report scheduled, a User Audit Detail report will run instead.

To fix this issue, if you have any of the following reports scheduled, you must delete and re-create them:

* Denied Detail
* Legal Liability Detail
* Top Bandwidth Sites
* Top Noncategorized Sites
* Top Users
* Top Web Sites
* Unacceptable Visits
* User Audit Detail
* User Audit Summary


NOTE: This action is only required for reports that were scheduled prior to an upgrade to Cyfin 7.9.0. If your download of Cyfin 7.9.0 was a new installation and not an upgrade, your reports are fine and no action is required.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. We have corrected our procedures to ensure that this does not happen in the future. "

I have already done that and I am receiving the correct report. But, lets say there are 5 users in a group and I run a report against that group. I am receiving 5 separate emails, one for each user, whereas I used to receive a single email with one consolidated report that included all 5 users.

If you run a User Audit Detail report against a group you will receive 5 separate reports. The product has never been able to 'consolidate' detail reports for multiple users into one report. What was the report that you ran? Do you have an older report showing an example of what you are referring to?

I don't have any examples. If it only sends separate reports, that is fine. I just wanted to make sure. I was told that the users used to receive a "consolidated" report, but apparently that is not the case. Thanks for your help.

I have make schedule to email the report daily to some emails addresses, however it suddenly not working. Besides, I find out that the report was running as schedule just it cannot send to some email addresses. Please advice.

Does the test email setting work (Setup -- Email -- test button)?
