The IP Address category is used to capture and segregate the IP addresses of Web sites that the product was
unable to associate with any of the ‘standard’ categories. If we know the IP address domain name, we do categorize the site in our control list under the appropriate category. We typically see three types of IP addresses. They can be:
1. Internal (and partner) Web pages
2. Innocent links on Web sites
3. Possible malware or virus servers.
