Enhancements

  1. Forefront TMG. Support is now available for Microsoft Forefront TMG for both filtering and reporting.
  2. Filter plugin. Now prevents blocked page or file from being downloaded, whereas before it would download the content and then disregard the data.
  3. Product News. Updates to Product News can now be emailed to an administrator. To begin receiving product news alerts via email, go to Administration - Product News - Setup and configure settings for Email Notification. (NOTE: default is set to "do not email" notification).
  4. Printing Dashboard Charts. With this release, you can now print any of the dashboard charts.
  5. Custom Categories. The ability to add user defined categories has been extended to a limit of 25 from the old limit of 12. You can now delete any or all of the custom categories.
  6. Support for MySQL Database. With this release, we extend support for MySQL database. The current MySQL Driver is version 5.1.10.
  7. Support for SQL Server Database. With this release, we extend support for SQL Server. The current SQL Server database driver is "jTDS Type 4 JDBC Driver for MS SQL Server and Sybase / 1.2.2".
  8. Updated Derby Database Driver. With this release, the Derby Database driver has been updated to 10.5.3.0.
  9. Database. With this release, there is a new screen that will allow you to configure connectivity to either a MySQL, SQL Server or Derby database. This screen is located in Logfiles - Data Manager - Settings. NOTE: Derby is set by default during installation, and does not require any further configuration.
  10. Data Manager - Manual Import. With this release, there is a time filter on the "Logfiles - Data Manager - Import Data - Import - Manual" screen so that you do not have to see every logfile in your system. NOTE: The filter is the same as the filter on the "Logfiles - Data Manager - Import Data - Delete - Schedule" screen.
  11. Data Manager - Schedule Delete. With this release, there is now a Preview button on the "Logfiles - Data Manager - Import Data - Delete - Schedule" screen. This button provides a way to confirm what data will be removed, before actually doing so.
  12. Data Manager - Recording Import Times. With this release, all Import Data is now recorded on the day it was imported. This is significant in the way it may be automatically removed at a later date. All data automatically removed will key off this date imported date stamp. With all previous releases, the ending time of the logfile was the key to match against the expiry. The problem here is that if old data was purposely imported at a more recent date, it may have been removed during the scheduled delete functions too soon.
  13. Check URL. The Advanced Settings - Category Setup - Check URL screen now has the full category description listed when a URL is entered.
Corrections

  1. Groups and IDs. With the previous release, same name groups could have been listed with duplicity under the same parent. This is now corrected.
  2. Blocking Extensions. With this release, blocking filename extensions is now case insensitive and only the URL portion is checked, excluding the query portion.
  3. Long URLs. The previous version of the plugin could only block a URL of < 256 chars. if the URL was larger, the URL could never be blocked. We now handle 1024 chars. Note: There are limits with ISA Server.
  4. Import Data. Fixed database connection and data inserting problems that caused large import data jobs to not complete.
  5. Filtering extensions and content. Extension filtering was being done on the full URL including the potential cgi portion of the URL. This caused incorrect matches. For example: page.html?q=i.gif caused an extension check of .gif instead of .html. Also made extension checks case-insensitive.
  6. Wildcarding URLs. Fixed wildcarding URL issue. Example would be where "*.site.com" did not match the URL "site.com". This is now fixed.
